La Sucriere has two bakeries in Sint Maarten. Simpson Bay is at 130 Welfare Road, open 6 AM to 7 PM Monday to Saturday and 6 AM to 6 PM on Sunday, with a terrace on the lagoon. Which one should you go to?
Simpson Bay if you want to sit down, if you are before seven in the morning, if it is Sunday, or if you want the full range. Philipsburg if you are in town, walking Front Street or the boardwalk, coming off a ship, or you want something quickly on the way somewhere.

We had such a wonderful experience at La Sucrière in SXM. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food and service were amazing, and everything felt so welcoming from start to finish. Happy to see this quality bakery in town. Ladies are very friendly and attentive. Love the Paris x Caribbean ambiance and typical Paris music that was playing. As a local, just very happy to see entrepreneurs coming back to Philipsburg.
This place has such fresh and yummy sandwiches and treats that are reasonably priced. But wait there is more, if you make your way to the back of the bakery you can sit outside on their lovely deck and be entertained by the visiting iguana who actually loves the camera. Stop by you will be so glad you did.
