Bakery in Cole Bay. Welfare Road
Our original home, the orange building on Welfare Road with the lagoon out back.
Cole Bay is where La Sucrière began. The original maison sits on Welfare Road, the orange building with the bakery sign you can't miss, with a terrace looking straight onto Simpson Bay Lagoon. This is the full experience: the morning case, breakfast and lunch service, coffee with boats drifting past. If you live or stay nearby, you don't need this page; you already know.
What to order for Cole Bay
This is the maison for sitting down: breakfast on the terrace, a croque monsieur at lunch, or the full pastry case at its freshest. Locals' move: arrive early, when everything is still warm.
