Les Maisons · n°1

Boulangeries with island soul.

La Sucriere is set in two breathtaking locations, each with its own identity. In Simpson Bay, a relaxed waterfront deck invites you to slow down and enjoy the view over the lagoon. In Philipsburg, an iconic historic building opens into a hidden back terrace, where charm and elegance feel almost like a fairy tale.

Wherever you visit, you'll find the same warmth, the same craftsmanship, and the same simple pleasure of something freshly made, meant to be savored. La Sucriere is more than a bakery; it is where Caribbean warmth, French flavor, and effortless tropical-chic charm come together… one bite at a time.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

How do pickup pre-orders work?

Send a request with the form above (or call us) at least 24 hours before pickup. A request is not a confirmed order — we confirm it once payment is arranged and verified via WhatsApp. Then it's boxed and waiting at your chosen time.

Can you cater an event, villa, or yacht?

We can. Use the party calculator above for a quick estimate, then send it over. We build orders around your guest count and timing — bread, viennoiserie and pâtisserie — and can set up a standing morning order for villas and charter crews in Simpson Bay.

Where are you, and is there parking?

We have two maisons: the original waterfront bakery at Welfare Road #130, Cole Bay (Simpson Bay), with a terrace on the lagoon, and our new maison on Old Street in Philipsburg, just off Front Street — look for the green doors. Both have parking nearby.

What do you bake?

Three things, properly: la boulangerie (baguettes de tradition, pain au levain, country breads), la viennoiserie (pure-butter croissants, pains au chocolat and more), and la pâtisserie (tarts, flans, macarons and seasonal pastries). The menu turns with the season and the morning's bake.

Do you have vegetarian or allergen information?

Many of our breads and pastries are vegetarian. Our kitchen works with wheat/gluten, dairy, eggs and nuts, so cross-contact is possible — please ask our team about a specific item and we'll tell you what's in it.

Do you supply hotels, restaurants and cafés?

Yes — that's Le Comptoir Pro, our wholesale side. We deliver fresh at dawn across the island with standing orders built around your service. Open a trade account from the wholesale section above.

What are your hours?

We bake through the night and open early. Indicatively, Monday to Saturday from 6:30 to 18:00, and Sunday mornings — out warm at sunrise. Hours can shift with the season, so call ahead for a special trip.

Do you ship pastries?

We're a fresh bakery, so we don't ship — everything is best the day it's baked. We do pickup, local delivery for larger orders, and island-wide wholesale.
